At Total Office Furniture, we recently completed an installation for a freight and logistics company based in Long Beach, California. Operating in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, the client needed a functional yet modern office space that could support clear communication, organized workflows, and employee comfort.
Project Goals:
In addition to modernizing the overall office design and enhancing team productivity, the client had several focused objectives:

Create defined workspaces for focused operations, customer service, and logistics coordination without fully enclosing staff in traditional offices

Maximize space usage in a high-traffic, high-volume environment while keeping the layout clean and functional

Balance privacy and accessibility with sliding doors and partition panels that allow for both quiet work and quick collaboration

Support operational flow by ensuring furniture placement aligns with the team’s daily communication and shipment coordination needs

Present a professional image to clients and partners who frequently visit the office for logistics meetings or freight coordination
What We Delivered:

Workstations: We installed efficient workstations designed for high-function teams. These included ergonomic seating, integrated storage, and clean cable management to support consistent, detail-heavy work.

Private Office Furniture with Cubicle Panels & Sliding Doors: A semi-private office system was built using cubicle partitions and modern sliding doors—offering managers and team leads the ability to focus when needed, while remaining accessible to floor staff. The configuration added privacy without sacrificing openness or natural light.
Design Approach:
We focused on a structured and modern layout that mirrors the precision and coordination required in the logistics industry. Neutral finishes, durable materials, and modular components were selected to support flexibility, durability, and long-term use—without compromising on appearance.
